We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead our store in Drogheda. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. The Store Manager will lead a team of staff, manage inventory, and ensure the store meets all operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
- Motivate and develop team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Sales & Customer Service:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets.
- Ensure the store delivers a high level of customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
Inventory & Merchandising:
- Manage inventory levels and ensure stock is well-organized and replenished.
- Oversee product displays and merchandising to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Conduct regular stock audits and manage loss prevention strategies.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage store budgets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, expenses, and profitability.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and financial reporting.
Store Operations:
- Ensure the store complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
- Oversee store opening and closing procedures.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Plan and execute in-store promotions and events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local marketing strategies.
- Utilize social media and other channels to engage with the local community.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good understanding of retail operations and inventory management.
- Proficient in using retail management software and MS Office.
- Financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering excellent service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Education:
- A degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
