Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Grocery Store Manager to lead our Clonmel store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Implement and maintain store policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
2. Sales and Profitability:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement promotional activities and merchandising strategies to drive sales.
- Manage budgets and optimize expenses to maximize profitability.
3. Customer Service:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and effectively.
- Foster a customer-centric culture among staff.
4. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff.
- Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve store goals.
5. Visual Merchandising:
- Ensure the store is visually appealing and well-presented.
- Implement visual merchandising guidelines and standards.
- Regularly update displays to reflect seasonal changes and promotions.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make informed business decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in inventory management and merchandising.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Education:
- A degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
