Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Liffey Valley, Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and driving sales to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overall store management and operations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team to ensure high standards of customer service.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance store appearance and drive sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Monitor sales performance and assist in developing strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure team alignment and development.
- Oversee cash handling and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll.
- Support promotional activities and in-store events to boost customer engagement and sales.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar retail management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
