We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Blanchardstown. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and have a proven track record in managing teams in a retail or customer service environment. The Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including staff management, sales performance, customer service, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership and Development:
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store staff.
- Lead by example, providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and conducting appraisals.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment.

2. Sales and Customer Service:
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
- Implement and oversee promotional activities and events.

3. Store Operations:
- Assist in managing day-to-day store operations.
- Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
- Oversee stock levels, ordering, and inventory management.
- Implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

4. Financial Management:
- Support the Store Manager in budgeting and financial planning.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis.

5. Health and Safety:
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
- Conduct regular health and safety audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a retail or customer service environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and retail management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
